• Anna – 8 years old, 3rd grader at Mora Elementary

• Rosie - 6 years old, 1st grader at Mora Elementary

• Willa - 4 years old, Pre-schooler at Mora Elementary

• Andy is a veteran of our United States Military – Honorably served our country

• Andy is also a beginning farmer and we've worked with our local SWCD, NRCS to implement land and pasture improvements to better the land (balanced ecosystem and sustainability in farming is our goal)

• Andy Jauhola, our friend who lives with us, is also a veteran of the United States Military, and helps with the farm

• We are all born and raised in Minnesota – Hillman Township is now our home

• We own and manage a cattle business at our home

• We own and manage solar business at our home – grid-tied, sell back to ECE

• We attend church in the area, girls in Sunday school and vacation bible school

• We volunteer in our community (examples: school, road ditch pick-up)

• We donate to the local second hand stores and food pantry's

• We support the local economy and local small town businesses: local daycare, groceries, contractors for all the work we've done to improve our home and farm (local carpenters, plumbers, roofers, HVAC, electrician, etc - all local from Kanabec County, Mora area)

 

 

We are excited to be a part of the community, we’ve been impressed with the school system and people associated with the area and we are happy that we’ve made our long-term home in Mora where we feel our girls can grow and thrive in a safe and caring environment
