As we celebrated Women's Equality Day yesterday at my work, I was thinking to myself; we have come leaps and bounds as a nation for gender equality, we can do the same for resident equality within our Township!
We have an opportunity to show this and future generations that the amount of service you receive as a township resident can be completely independent of the length of time you've been a resident of the township. Or your economic standing, or your last name, etc.
Whether you moved in last week or your family residency goes back a few generations, all should receive the same service and respect.
What a wonderful opportunity to be great role models.
